Strategy:
This year our robot was designed with the capability to perform all of the tasks in the game challenge. While we may not be able to hurdle as fast as a launching robot, we have the advantage of being able to knock the ball off during the hybrid period for 8 points, and being able to place the ball on the overpass at the end of the match for 12 points. Assuming these two tasks are completed successfully, we already have a 20 point advantage over most ball launching robots. Our design also includes a three-speed drive train. Low speed will provide fine control for ball handling, while high speed will be advantageous when racing around the track to score points.
